Beautiful Burnaby Lake is getting ready to host the Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) Canadian Masters Championships (CMC) this July. Known for its protected waters and spectacular views, Burnaby Lake has been home to water sport enthusiasts since 1929.
Another opportunity has presented itself for young Canadian rowers to compete on the world stage. Canada has been granted two entries into the rowing regatta portion of the 2014 Summer Youth Olympic Games, which are taking place in Nanjing, China from August 16th to the 28th.
Canadian crews took part in international regattas on both sides of the Atlantic this past weekend.
