Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) has two employment opportunities within the High Performance Program.
NextGen Program Assistant
The NextGen Program Assistant role is a unique opportunity in the field of Sport Management to cover a maternity leave position. The NextGen Program Assistant provides coordination, administrative and relationship support to the Rowing Canada Aviron NextGen Strategy. The NextGen Program Assistant will also work closely with the National Team Coordinator and the High Performance Team in the development of event specific plans for events and camps within the NextGen strategy. This part time (approx. 20 hours per week), one-year term position commences in September 2020. Work location is negotiable, however proximity to the RCA Head Office in Victoria, BC may be considered a strong asset. The successful candidate will be required to work primarily from their home office.
National Team Equipment Coordinator
The National Team Equipment Coordinator is a new role within the High Performance Program. The Equipment Coordinator’s role is to contribute to the effective day to day operations of the National Training Centre locations by ensuring the range of equipment is available and functional. Working with the National Team Coordinator and National Team Coaches in delivering against the objectives outlined in the Job Description are key functions of the role. The position is part-time (approx. 20 hours per week) commencing in September 2020 and located in Victoria, BC.
