Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) is seeking a part-time Para Rowing Pathway Coordinator to join the team.

The RCA Para Rowing Pathway Coordinator will lead the development and implementation of a national para-rowing pathway strategy that supports the growth of para-rowing across Canada and enables para-athletes to achieve success on the world stage. Working closely with the Para Rowing Head Coach and the High Performance Director, the Coordinator will strengthen the para-rowing system from grassroots to high performance. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate sports professional with expertise in para sport, athlete development, and high-performance systems.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in para sport and high-performance environments, with proven ability to design and deliver athlete development pathways, manage partnerships, and lead talent identification and transfer initiatives. Strong communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently in a decentralized, part-time role.

This position will require domestic travel and occasional weekend or evening work. The National Office is located in Victoria, BC and the National Training Centre is located in North Cowichan, BC. The nature of this work enables this position to be held remotely. Remote opportunities will be considered for the right candidate.

Salary Range: $29,187.00- 43,780.00 per annum (0.5 FTE). The Salary Range is the span between the minimum and maximum base salary for a position. The midpoint of the range represents a salary for an employee who has complete job knowledge, qualifications and experience for the position. Typically, employees will be hired between the minimum and midpoint of the salary range for a job. The salary offered to the successful candidate will consider several factors, including but not limited to the individual’s skillset, level of experience applicable to the role they are being offered, and internal equity considerations.
