U23 and U19 World Rowing Championship Teams Announced

Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) has selected the U23 Team, set to represent Canada at the 2025 World Rowing Under 23 Championships in Poland, July 23-27, and the Junior Team that will represent Canada at the 2025 World Rowing Under 19 Championships, August 6-10.
This year, Canada is represented by one of the biggest entries for the U23 World Championships to date in both Men’s and Women’s 8+’s. World Championships host a wide range of competition, giving crews the chance to test their speeds on a global stage.
The Canadian U23 crews are deep in preparations for the upcoming World Rowing Championships in July, with a primary focus on the Men’s Eight and Women’s Eight crews. A few athletes will also compete in smaller boats, doubling up in the Women’s 2- and the Men’s 2-.
The regatta promises to showcase some of the world’s most promising young rowers, offering spectators an exciting preview of the next generation of elite talent.
Following the World U23 Championships, Canadian fans will cheer on the Junior team as they head to Trakai, Lithuania, in August. For many young rowers, this event will be the biggest opportunity of the year to experience international racing and develop their skills on a larger stage.
