Rowing Canada Aviron Announces 2026 Canadian Masters Championship Regatta

Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) is pleased to confirm that the 2026 Canadian Masters Championship Regatta will once again be held in conjunction with the Canadian Henley Masters program at the historic Martindale Pond in St. Catharines, Ontario.

Taking place as part of the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta, the Canadian Masters Championship Regatta provides masters athletes from across Canada with the opportunity to compete for national championship recognition while participating in one of North America’s premier rowing events.

The Royal Canadian Henley is proud to host the Canadian Masters Championship alongside our own Henley Masters events once again in 2026,” said Serge Paquin, Henley Commissioner. “It’s a format that works beautifully — international crews race for Henley Gold while the top Canadian crew in each event earns the national championship title on the same water, in the same race. We’re glad to provide the stage for Rowing Canada’s masters athletes and look forward to another strong week at Martindale Pond.”

Open to athletes aged 21 and older, the Canadian Masters Championship Regatta welcomes competitors from a wide range of age categories and experience levels. The event combines national championship racing with the camaraderie, sportsmanship, and community spirit that have long defined masters rowing in Canada.

The Canadian Masters Championship Regatta will be contested during the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta, one of the largest amateur rowing competitions in North America. Each year, the event attracts thousands of athletes and spectators, bringing together competitors from across Canada and around the world for a week of high-level racing.

Additional information, including registration details, event schedules, and the official Regatta Package, will be made available through the Canadian Henley Rowing Regatta website.
