At the recent Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) National Conference, the first in-person conference since 2020, with coaches from across Canada in attendance, Rowing Canada Aviron had an opportunity to celebrate 11 coaches who have completed the RCA National Coaching Performance Coach certification.
The certification has provided these coaches with in-depth career development and techniques for high-performance rowing coaching.
RCA Manager Coach Education and Development, Colleen Miller was thrilled to have the opportunity to celebrate these elite coaches who are making a positive difference at their clubs and for rowing in Canada.
“On behalf of Rowing Canada Aviron and the entire rowing community we congratulate these coaches on receiving their National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Performance Coach certification,” Miller said.
“These coaches are making positive impacts at rowing clubs across our nation and are deserved recipients of this coaching certification.
“We all know the importance of great coaches supporting rowers at all levels of age and competition. With the support of RCA’s Coach Developers and Mentors, we are thrilled to witness the tremendous dedication and results from these coaches as they build rowing in their communities promoting participation and excellence in the sport we all love.”
