Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) is pleased to announce that Rachel Wolff has joined the organization as the new National Events Manager. Rachel joins RCA after working as the Manager of Events with the Toronto Rock Lacrosse Club and as a freelancer in broadcasting.
“Rachel brings a wealth of experience in corporate and community events, broadcasting and volunteer leadership in the sports industry,” RCA Director of Partnerships and Sport Development Jennifer Fitzpatrick said. “Her experiences and perspective will assist RCA and our organizing committees to host engaging events that will create memorable competitor and volunteer experiences. I welcome her to our team and know her work will continue to celebrate our sport across the nation.”
In this role, Rachel will be responsible for leading the planning, design, production, promotion, overall co-ordination and profitability of RCA’s national events, such as the RCA National Rowing Championships, RCA Canadian Masters Championships and Canada Cup. Rachel will also support bringing international events to Canada and developing new national events for emerging disciplines such as indoor rowing and coastal.

“I am excited to join Rowing Canada Aviron as the National Events Manager. Rowing Canada Aviron has a history of hosting world class events, and I am looking forward to adding to this legacy,” Rachel said. “My goal is to work with our member clubs to continue to grow the sport by hosting amazing events that draw seasoned and brand-new rowers alike. We have an exciting season of rowing ahead and I can’t wait!”
