Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) invites all members and supporters to a Community Updates Webinar on February 18, 2026, at 3:30 pm PST / 6:30 pm EST. This session will unveil the latest plans for the new National Training Centre (NTC), including updates on water quality testing and remediation, updates on athlete and alumni support, campaign progress, and how the rowing community can get involved.

RCA’s new National Training Centre on Quamichan Lake in North Cowichan represents a major step forward for Canadian rowing. The site offers protected, year-round rowing conditions and a setting that supports a true “One Team” approach—bringing together men’s, women’s, and para-athletes to train side by side. The NTC will also unite top coaches, sport scientists, and therapists in a collaborative environment designed to drive innovation and performance.
