The registration deadline for the 2026 RCA National Conference has been extended to Tuesday, January 20th at 11:59 pm PT, giving the rowing community a few extra days to secure their spot at this year’s event.

Surprise Panel Addition!
Joining the panel “Building High-Performance Pathways for Athletes: Training Volume and Competitive Environments,” led by Scott Feddery of Queen’s University and David Calder of Brentwood College School, is Yasmin Farooq, Women’s Head Coach at the University of Washington!
This talk draws on Rowing Canada’s Gold Medal Profile to explore sustainable athlete development. The session examines how coaches can balance training demands with academic and personal growth while fostering a competitive culture of growth and excellence.
Additional highlights include keynote speaker Robert Fegg, Head Coach of the Canadian Luge Team, and sessions from Erin Davis, Katie Bahain-Steenman, Jana Peachey, Richard Paterson, Mayah Golden, Matt Bradshaw, Katie Clark, Steven Rosts, Dane Lawson, and more.
Club sessions will feature False Creek Rowing Club on building sustainable community programming and Victoria City Rowing Club on expanding participation through financial accessibility.
