IMPORTANT CONFERENCE INFORMATION

Registration/Information
Registration will be open at 7:30 am Thursday January 25, 2018 on the 2nd floor in the Churchill Court and remain open for the remainder of the Conference.
 
Upon check-in you will receive your delegate bag, printed program, and your name badge. Remember that a name badge is required for entrance to all conference events and meals.

37th ANNUAL RCA EXCELLENCE AWARDS

We look forward to celebrating athletes, coaches, umpires and volunteers who are so dedicated to our great sport. RCA’s Annual Excellence Awards brings together many of our current National Team members as well as club members as we recognize their success and give thanks to all those that make the journey possible. Guests at the RCA Annual Excellence Awards will enjoy an evening of good company, complimentary beverages and a buffet dinner.
 
A cocktail reception will start at 6:00 pm on Saturday, January 27th in the Churchill Court with doors opening and the award presentations beginning at 7:00 pm.

Canadian Rowing Hall of Fame Awards – Friday January 26th 6:00 – 8:00 pm in the Monarchs Pub at the Chelsea Hotel The Canadian Rowing Hall of Fame recognizes and celebrates the accomplishments of Canadian rowers at the highest levels of the sport, and those whose efforts have contributed directly to those results. These individual stories serve as inspirations to Canadians and others, and will help to promote the sport and its amazing history. The Canadian Rowing Hall of Fame also recognizes those who have brought honour to the sport and to Canada, and those whose substantial and sustained efforts have contributed to the growth and development of the sport in Canada and abroad.

ABOUT TORONTO AND THE CHELSEA HOTEL

Directions from Pearson Airport

The Chelsea Hotel Toronto is conveniently located in the downtown area and is accessible via taxi or transit.
Transit
UP EXPRESS – Trains between Pearson Airport and Downtown Toronto (Union Station) take 25 minutes and run every 15 minutes. From Union Station you can walk the 1.6 km or take Line 1 (Younge-University) until College
Taxi
 Airport limousine services and taxis are located on the ground level of Terminal 1 and the arrivals level at Terminal 3. Fares average approximately $50
 
Parking
Parking is available and can be accessed on the South Side of Gerrard Street in front of the Hotel Lobby Entrance. The Chelsea Hotel Toronto Parkade has a height restriction of 5.5 feet and parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
 
Parking rates for registered hotel guests at the Chelsea Hotel Toronto are:
Guest Self-Parking: $34 + tax/night with unlimited in and out privileges
Guest Valet Parking: $44 + tax/night with unlimited in and out privileges
Daily Self-Parking: $18 + tax from 6 am to 6 pm

The weather forecast in Toronto during our conference currently calls for temperatures ranging from 5 to -16 degrees Celsius with chances of rain; please dress accordingly.
