HomeNews EventsNews
Jack Nicholson coached athletes at all levels of rowing, from beginner to World Champion, and was highly regarded by rowers, coaches and officials alike. Jack’s dedication to the sport, his intuitive understanding of technique, and his ability to communicate with and inspire his crews helped them prepare for their future in sport and life in general. Jack was also well known in Canadian Rowing for his ongoing mentorship and support of Club level Coaches, encouraging them to take advantage of all learning opportunities and becoming the best they could be for the benefit of the athletes. Jack truly exemplified the “Spirit of Coaching".
